Join the GOM Sustainability Network
The Green Office Movement (GOM) is a leading global network advancing sustainability in higher education in an inclusive manner, engaging both students and staff. The GOM Sustainability Network offers external sustainability professionals and activists the possibility to link up with each other, as well as Green Office Movement alumni, to exchange ideas, talk about sustainability, find or spread job opportunities and socialise.
As part of the movement, we are also hosting an Alumni Network for former employees, members and network coordinators who used to be involved in the movement. If that is you, check out the alumni network instead.
Benefits
Join the network by signing up for:
The Network Newsletter
Receive the bi-annual newsletter as well as occasional special invitations, in order to: be invited to events, get updates about what is happening with the Green Office Movement, get recommendations on sustainability-themed media, as well as job vacancies. Events that you will be invited to include our bi-annual digital calls.
Bi-annual digital network calls
Twice a year we are organising digital network calls for Green Office alumni and other sustainability professionals and activists. Join the calls to network, socialise and share experiences. Each session includes a dedicated topic or activity and space to share job opportunities, though there is of course also always room to casually talk with one another.
Access to the network LinkedIn group
Through the network, you gain access to the Green Office Alumni & Sustainability Network LinkedIn group. The group is used to stay in touch, share sustainability-themed updates, as well as job vacancies. In the group and during calls we also update a running list of job platforms and employers around sustainability.
Financial support for the Movement (optional)
The Green Office Movement is among the most impactful sustainability initiatives in higher education around the world. However, due to its inclusive and open-source nature, it is lacking significant structural financing. If you are in a position to give, we would therefore highly appreciate if you could make a single or recurring contributing to maintain and strengthen this powerful student and staff movement, which is making higher education sustainable around the world.
We are still setting up the payment system. We will let you know via the newsletter once it is set up.
